There really are a lot of great options to study English these days. There are apps, eikaiwa, online courses, private lessons, etc. but what we’d like to achieve here is to provide a high-level course which utilizes some of the facilities of online platforms and which brings together a group of really motivated, intelligent and interesting participants.
The concept is to study and learn about a variety of topics (business, society, culture) in English rather than the general chat of, say, a conversation school.
The materials will come from native English sources; articles, video, audio and the activities will cover all the four skills of English; primarily speaking and listening, but also reading and writing.

Well it’s a weekly two-hour session over twelve weeks, using three sets of materials, firstly a Pre-Day worksheet - homework assignments such as presentation prep, vocabulary research, reading etc. Basically, it’s homework that’s done before each class.
Then in the lesson you’ll receive an In-class worksheet with listening and discussion activities and also some interpreter-type drills (like shadowing, reproduction, parsing or “chunking”), and finally some Answers. You can also receive digital materials to review at home after classes (which we strongly recommend by the way).

A variety of people really, businesspeople who want to study some business English skills and topics without focusing solely on business, aspiring and existing translators/interpreters, tour guides, those teaching English, those involved with the Tokyo Olympics and other international events, etc.
